In the vertical construction field a critical path method schedule (CPM) is a valuable tool for planning, executing, and evaluating a successful project. Primavera P6 is an essential tool for project controls from a $500,000 project to a $1 billion project. An effective team will have the skills to create, modify, analyze and correct a schedule on a daily basis either in the field or at the home office. These skills will help the project team create a logical plan, manage progress and account for delays using a powerful computerize software with easy to read and understand schedules and reports.
BuildingPoint Pacific’s team of trainers can train your engineers, superintendents, and project managers to perform basic functions of Primavera P6 such as customize the program, create and edit a schedule, update a schedule, produce schedule layouts, create and edit reports along with import and export Primavera P6 files. This 2-day course is a basic level course that empowers an individual to feel confident in Primavera P6 and utilize the power of the program in order to successfully complete a project. One of the most important segments of the training is Best Practices in creating and maintaining a schedule. Students will leave the course understanding how a CPM schedule should be created and maintain to ensure the project schedule is as accurate and effective as possible throughout the project’s lifecycle. At BuildingPoint Pacific we like to show our students how easy Primavera P6 can be to open, operate and produce accurate and professional schedule for their clients, owners, subcontractors and staff.
BuildingPoint Pacific understands that not all project engineers, project managers and superintendents can be pulled off of a job site for a 2-day training in a remote environment. We offer various methods of training from our own training centers in San Leandro and San Diego, to onsite training or remote training online. We also provide an option of 2-3 hour training blocks for 8 weeks where we can come to your jobsite or home office to conduct training.
